ASD is a neurodevelopment disorder in which child does not develop social communication and language skills as per his/her age, although motor milestones are generally achieved on time.

ASD kids also presents restricted interests, repetitive behaviors and difficulty in sensory processing.

The onset of symptoms is in early childhood, however, symptoms may be noticed later.

It is caused due to multiple factors including genetic, biological and environmental factors and NOT due to parenting style.
